This drawing is the first time River has drawn people that actually resemble people!

Aaaallll Aboard the River Express!
River: “I wrote my name with arrows. And this is me. And I will draw you, being so proud of me.” As he drew, he looked back and forth from me to the paper to be sure his depiction was as accurate as possible. Then he drew “a lot of hearts, because we love each other so much.”

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
A leprechaun visited us and left presents!
The kids tried hard to find the leprechaun.

The leprechaun left Jack some puree.
And he left candy in the kids' shoes.
He even left candy in Pop Pop's shoes when we were at work!
He left bubbles, too.
The leprechaun spent the night. We know, because before he left the next morning, he used the toilet, turning the toilet water green!
He left the back door open on his way out, and left a couple special coins by the door for the kids.
