June!
Happy 3rd Birthday Eliana!
Father’s Day 2023
June 26
Eleanor is 11 months old! She likes to imitate- kissing faces, clapping, waving. She shakes her head no in a very dramatic and funny way,” saying “ahhhhhhhh” almost like she’s saying “nooooooooo.” She knows what I’m saying if I say, “Let’s go wake your brother!” And she loves to play “Where’s Elles? There she is!”
River has an amazing memory. Today, River wanted to look at photos of dinosaur skeletons on my phone. We are randomly looking at images, and he points to one that looks exactly the same as all the others on the page. He says, “That’s the one in my dinosaur book!” I’m thinking ,there is no way he can tell that that is the skeleton from his book. But when we get his book, it was the exact T. Rex skeleton on display at the Chicago Field Museum. How he could tell, I’m still not sure.
He is also the sweetest kid. The other day, he announced he was going to buy us a house to we would be “good” (happy) and buy Nana and Pop Pop a house (nearby) so could all “hang out and have fun.”
Summertime means Bud and I have a little more time to hang out. While the kids are having fun at Ms. Lori’s we can go for a walk and get ice cream after taking a professional development class or get some Thai food while the laundry is washing at the laundromat.
